{"id":612,"date":"2024-08-26T05:34:04","date_gmt":"2024-08-26T05:34:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vernonjudoclub.ca\/vjc2\/?p=612"},"modified":"2024-09-01T08:30:23","modified_gmt":"2024-09-01T08:30:23","slug":"2024-25-registration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vernonjudoclub.ca\/vjc2\/2024\/08\/26\/2024-25-registration\/","title":{"rendered":"2024-25 Registration, plus Fall Camp info"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>We are also hosting the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/registration.judocanada.org\/event\/2024-judo-bc-fall-inter-provincial-camp\/1000781\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/registration.judocanada.org\/event\/2024-judo-bc-fall-inter-provincial-camp\/1000781\/\" target=\"_blank\">Judo BC Fall Camp<\/a> here in Vernon September 27-29 with Olympian Naohisa Takato!<\/em> <em>We&#8217;ve also received word that\u2014at the camp awards Ceremony\u2014Judo BC will be recognizing some VJC members as the JBC 2024 Volunteers of the Year.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Registration for the Vernon Judo Club 2024-25 season is underway. The first night of classes is Monday September 16th (later than first posted due to changes in the cultural centre renovations schedule).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note the changed class times and age ranges from last season:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<ul>\n<li>We&#8217;re doing a&nbsp;<strong>6-12 class Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30-7:30<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>13+ class now runs from 7:30-9<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Petit Sam kids are being waitlisted until we are about a month into the season\/we can coordinate timing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration is done in 2 parts (Contact us before registering if unsure; the Judo BC\/Judo Canada amounts are not refundable and we may only be able to refund a portion of club dues).  <em><strong>You must be registered with Judo BC\/Canada (excepting free-trials below) before coming on the mats!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Do your Vernon Judo Club <a href=\"https:\/\/registration.judocanada.org\/register\/vernon-judo-club\/26214\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/registration.judocanada.org\/register\/vernon-judo-club\/26214\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>registration with Judo Canada\/Judo BC here<\/strong><\/a> [if you have registered previously anywhere in Canada, be sure to hit &#8220;returning member&#8221;].<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then e-Transfer your club dues (where we have kids and adults rates, plus family discounts).  <strong>Contact us for rates<\/strong> [Adult 19+ is $450 for the season and kids 18 and under $390 (Petit Sam TBA).  Do not use the contact-us email address for e-Transfers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>As before, we&#8217;re doing 2-week free trials for people who have not done judo before in Canada, but they need to contact us to coordinate timing and sign an <a href=\"https:\/\/vernonjudoclub.ca\/vjc2\/JBC-2020AdultWaiverEditable.pdf\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/vernonjudoclub.ca\/vjc2\/JBC-2020AdultWaiverEditable.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">adult 19+<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/vernonjudoclub.ca\/vjc2\/JBC-2020MinorWaiverEditable.pdf\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/vernonjudoclub.ca\/vjc2\/JBC-2020MinorWaiverEditable.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">adult for minor<\/a> waiver before going on the mats.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are also hosting the Judo BC Fall Camp here in Vernon September 27-29 with Olympian Naohisa Takato!
