The new season is about to begin. Membership for the 2025-26 season expires August 31st. Judo Canada has moved from Trackie to DokuMe for registration. See link/notes below and Contact Us if there are any issues. Waivers and membership are required before you join us on the mats for the new season.
To get signed up with under the new system, go to the DokuMe portal for the Vernon Judo Club. This will collect your Judo Canada and Judo BC fees (about $100 after transaction fees). There are some important changes: you need to set up a DokuMe account to link your data to your membership and parents of participants under 14 years will need to be set up under the parent/guardian account. Please be patient; The system is new, built in Germany, and they’re still working out some of the bugs (a few prompts are still in German; the mobile version may have more of this than the version you’ll see from a computer or tablet). The VJC is still collecting its membership fees separately, so don’t be confused if you see a $0 invoice in DokuMe for club membership—and be certain about signup as we cannot refund your Judo BC/Canada fees.
We are excited to be part of the upcoming fall camp, September 25-27, with special guest: Japanese Olympian Takanori Nagase. You must be a 2026-27 member of Judo BC / Canada to sign up, minimum orange belt, and (to sign up as a coach instead of an athlete) minimum NCCP Dojo Instructor. While the deadline to sign up is September 8, sign up soon as spots are expected to fill up quickly.
